Turkish bath (Hamam)

A Hamam or Turkish bath is based on the philosophy of the physical and spiritual cleansing, a direct inheritor of the Roman baths. Traditionally, the baths were not only for washing, but also for meeting friends and socializing. Today it has been used for weight reduction, cleansing, and relaxation purposes.
A massage exfoliation session leaves the feeling of cleanliness and extreme relaxation in addition to the acquisition of energy in a steam bath. Turkish baths offer a selection of foam massages that have been preserved culturally from the Ottoman time. We book the best of Istanbul hamam.

Belly dance and folkloric show

The Turkish dance is directly linked to the history of Turkey and its unique culture. The dance was a way to communicate with nature and with God. With the emergence of musical instruments, the Turks began using Dance Festivals and the celebration of victory over the enemy, or after a successful hunt. It was precisely from there that Turkish belly dance, which was taken on the east culture and began to emerge.

In Istanbul, belly dancing began to develop, and assumed the leadership of the Turkish arts. Exciting, fascinating, full of stories and performances and accompanied by a typical Turkish dinner, this is our suggestion for an unforgettable evening!

Dervish ceremony

Among the various concerts and shows in Istanbul one of the most popular rituals is the “Swirling Dervishes”, which attracts tourists from around the world. But in reality this is not just a show, ‘The Order of Mevleni’ is a Sufi order founded in the city of Konya by the followers of Rumi. It is also known as the Order of the Dancing Dervishes, the fact of this rotation for hours during ceremonies, spiritualizing the mind and the pursuit of communion with God. This ceremony begins with a ritual prayers and recitations – Dhikr – to remember and recall God, and continues with the Sema. Each participant or semazem appears covered by a black hood that will be discovered during the ceremony as a metaphor for being spiritually born to the truth. Below, dressed in a white robe, long and round, a shroud symbolizing the ego, whose gravestone is represented by the hat. The purpose of clothing is to express an absolute renunciation of the “ego”.

The Dervishes or Sema Ritual is one of the most popular attractions of Turkey and we can take you for the best show in Istanbul or Cappadocia.

Cruise on the Bosphorus

The city of Istanbul is the only city in the world located on two continents, part of the city is in Europe and part in Asia. This division is made by the Bosphorus Strait, a channel of 36 km which divides the city into two, linking the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara.

Taking a boat trip on the Bosphorus is one of the most beautiful and pleasant tours in Istanbul. Along the coasts of the Bosphorus you can enjoy a wonderful blend of past and present in their buildings. There are palaces and forts of the typical yalis (traditional wooden houses, both in architecture and construction), mansions and monuments, mosques and luxury hotels.

Dreieck Tours takes you to discover the charm of the Bosphorus by regular boats or private yacht. Please contact us to request a quote.
